A few weeks before Halloween Oaklin and I decided to decorate the house. We hung a huge hairy spider from the porch light. The spider was so scary, Oak refused to walk past it. We taped up the 'motion activated' snake on the front door and put out the tin pumpkins.
Oaklin's class had a party and costume parade the Friday before Halloween. Des was invited to be a room mother and I only came for the parade. The kids were so excited to show off their costumes! All of the them smiling and waving at their parents as they walked by. Oaklin dressed as a Ninja and pretended not to know me as he walked by.
Heather and I dressed as flappers. Wearing lots of eye makeup and wigs we hit the town.
