DInner with Dracula

The Salty Theater Company presented "Dinner with Dracula" at Mimi's in Layton. By the end of the night we were all practicing our vampire hiss and laughing along with the silly show.

Wicked-Er

I love this satire based Murray Theater. I try to catch a show at least once a year.
I am a big Fan of the musical Wicked and when I saw they were going to do a spoof, I just knew I had to see it. This was Desiree's first time at the playhouse... boy was she in for a treat.
The classic characters Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man & Cowardly Lion were replaced with, Vanna White, Sheldon Cooper, Arnold Schwarzenegger & Zac Galifianakis. This combination of personalities was hilarious.... As a Big Bang fan I couldn't believe how great the Sheldon Cooper character was!
We had a great time and will be back next year!!

Skeleton in the Grave Yard

Since this is the time for goblins and bats,
Halloween spirits, ghosts and cats,
Weird-happenings and witches brew,
These are the things I wish for you.
May the only spirit you chance to meet,
Be the spirit of love and warm friends sweet.
We left a skeleton to watch over you.
Love you Kole... We wish you a Happy Boo!

Discover Nashville

A quick 2 day work meeting with the National Account Team.
We took half a day to take a tour of Nashville.
We visited the Ryman Auditorium, the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. The auditorium quickly became know as the Mosther Church of Country Music. It was very rare to find an empty seat at any performance. The auditorium is now a nation lanmark and is open daily for tours, used for a movie set and hosts the occational concert.
We visited Music Row and the Country Hall of Fame Museum.

Sing Little Bird... Sing

One of the most famous Nashville music hot spots is the Bluebird Cafe. This hole in the wall cafe has seen the likes of LeAnn Rimes, Garth Brooks and many other famous country artists. Singer songwriters submit demo tracks and hope to be invited to perform. The venue is quite small, so any seat is a great seat.

Thriller

Thriller by Odyssey Dance Theater is by far my favorite Halloween show! As Micheal Jackson's music fills the air and the curtain rises I can feel the excitement bubble up from inside.
All of the performances were fantastic this year, especially the New Steppin' Wolves. The three teenage football player looking wolves really got the crowd going with their amazing moves!

Family

We had our pictures taken early so that I could get Christmas Cards printed and ready to send by the first of December. We got a lot of fun shots... Thanks Brody Dezember Photography.
