Glass Flowers

We went down to the Art Institute at Thanksgiving Point to make glass flowers. After a quick lesson we were geared up and ready to get started. After picking out 2 different colors of glass, the instructor would layer the colors into the molten glass and then re-heat it. Once the glass was around 2,000 degree's, we could then flatten and start to pull the glass into petals.
Once the flowers were complete, they had to go into a 900 degree rack and slowly cool down for 24 hours.
