Surprise

What a fun surprise to find 7 years bad luck after spending a fabulous week at the lake :( The nail I used apparently pulled out of the sheet rock. Sighing, I started cleaning up the mess, and then all of the sudden I noticed blood all over the carpet? Weird... I looked down and Oh NO, my hands and knees' were bleeding! Lets just say this night really sucked.

Later that week I found a great mirror at Home Goods for only $40. Super excited, I went home an installed a 3 inch grabber into the stud. No way was this mirror going to fall. I climb the ladder, grunting (this mirror was heavy) I slowly hang the mirror. No kidding, 5 seconds later it came crashing down.  I struggled to catch the mirror and somehow the wire managed to stab my middle finger. Blood came pouring out, the tip of my finger went numb and I cried. The quality screws on the back of the mirror had completely ripped out! I threw the damn thing on the couch, packed my bag, grabbed the dogs and went back to the lake.

A week later I replaced the screws, hesitantly hung the mirror AGAIN and waited. Yay it held! Now if only the feeling in my finger would return....
