The museum houses the Getty collections of European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, and decorative arts as well as European and American and European photographs.
The Central Garden, which was my favorite; was created by renowned artist Robert Irwin and lies at the heart of the Getty Center.
The wandering paths are lined with numerous colorful plants and flowers. The sights, sounds and smells are delightful.
I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the day with friends.
