Today I took the boys to the Animal Hospital for Rabies booster shots. I didnt even know they had expired, until we got denied at Petsmart last saturday. All we wanted to do was get a little bath and comb.....Gosh! Anyway we went to see Dr Nebeker (who is Moki's Dr) and I was a little worried that Tate would freak out (side note: Tate freaks out over everything!). Tate's previous owner took him to Banfield Hospital, and I continued to take him there since all his treatments were pre-paid for up until he turned 1. However, I was never really thrilled with the treatment he received there, Plus the staff at Antelope Animal Hospital have always been really good with Moki, so I decided it was time to take Tate. To my surprise Tate did amazingly well! He let the Dr look in his mouth and ears. But even more astonishing was that he didnt even make a peep when he got his shot, SO proud. Moki on the other hand (side note: Moki is usually the best behaved dog ever!) morphed into a crazy man. He did not like the Dr poking at him and sadly he peed his pants during the exam! But... we made it through and now both Moki and Tate are sporting up to date PURPLE Davis county animal control and rabies tags. I even got them new black collars adorned with white puppy prints to go with their new tags.
